API & ingestion

API requests cover every authenticated call except Generate AI Answer. Gen AI is billed only with AI Generation credits (see below) - it is not double-counted as an API request.

AI Generation credits

Gen AI calls are charged only by the credit tier of the model you use. They are not charged again under API requests. Pricing includes embedding, retrieval, and generation for that answer call. See AI Generation and the Generate AI Answer API for model details.
